Daycare can help curb negative behaviors
If your dog gets anxious when alone, you might be used to coming home to destroyed furniture, scratches in the hardwood, or holes in the yard. Playgroups are carefully chosen by size and temperament, with groups kept small for the safest play, and all members of our daycare staff are thoroughly trained in safe off-leash practices and canine body language.

Everyone starts with a Meet N Greet
All daycare dogs join us first for a meet and greet, where we watch them at play and work out the best group for them. We read posture, facial expressions and other cues to understand what kind of play they enjoy. Social dogs are introduced to the pack gradually, and dogs who prefer their own space get one on one time with a caregiver. Once the meet and greet is done, they are welcome to stay the rest of the day.

Vaccinations
Daycare dogs must be current on rabies, distemper/parvo and Bordetella. We also highly recommend canine influenza H3N8, canine influenza H3N2 and coronavirus. These are not requirements, but we recommend every daycare dog receives them, and we encourage you to talk it through with your vet. If your pet needs an updated vaccination, please arrange it no less than 10 days before any daycare time is scheduled.
Puppies need at least one set of vaccines given at least seven days before their first visit, including a first booster of distemper/parvo and Bordetella. Rabies comes at about 16 weeks.
Your dog's first day
Please arrive no later than 9:00 or 9:30am so your pup has time to explore and get comfortable. Then we introduce the regular group for that day, one dog at a time. Pick up any time before 7pm. Fresh water is available all day, though some dogs drink less on their first day from the excitement and come home extra thirsty. That is completely normal.
How often should they come?
We suggest a minimum of one day a week. Dogs relax fastest when they see familiar faces, so we encourage assigned days rather than a different group every time. Daycare packages for frequent guests are available at a reduced cost, seven days a week.

What does a typical day look like?
Supervised play with safe, durable toys, running around with friends. Mid day we encourage a nap. After the nap they play until pick up.
Can I add services and activities to my dog's day of daycare?
Absolutely. We offer full service premium bathing and full service grooming, and we have additional treats and activities, such as individual play times, available for your pup.
Is daycare available by the half day?
Yes. Half day and full day daycare are both available, with after-hours checkout. Call us and we will work out which package suits you.
