Choose your suite

Ours were built by professional kennel masters on nine green acres. Every suite pairs an indoor room with a private patio the exact same size, so your dog has twenty feet of private run, end to end, and double the square footage.

Want more room than your dog's size calls for?

Any dog can stay in any suite. Your rate depends on your dog, not on which room we put them in, so book a bigger room than your dog's size calls for and just add the upgrade to your nightly rate. A 12 lb terrier is welcome in our largest suite if that is what you would like.

Nobody stays in a box here

Built as a kennel. Not squeezed into a strip mall.

Our Fairburn home has been a working professional kennel since 1972, and it even housed the USDA's famous Beagle Brigade. That heritage means our suites were designed for animals first: long enough to trot, tall enough to climb, with a private patio for every single guest, canine or feline.

Because every patio matches its suite exactly, your dog's space doubles the moment they step outside. Most facilities call a narrow concrete ledge an outdoor run. Ours is a whole second room.

More space means less stress, better sleep, and a happier pet waiting for you at pickup.

Nine acres of Georgia countryside

Your pet will not be boarding in a warehouse behind a shopping center. Paws & Pastures sits on nine quiet, wooded acres in Fairburn, the same grounds that have housed professional kennels since 1972. Drop in for a tour any time, or book a free Meet N Greet before your pet's first stay. We would love to show you around.

Food, medication and what to pack

Please pack your dog's usual food, bagged and labeled per serving. If food does not arrive in individual containers or bags with your pet's name and meals measured out, a meal packaging fee of $3 per day applies, to a maximum of $15 per stay. We also offer a tasty, nutritious premium kibble for $3 per day.

We are happy to give oral or topical medication and supplements for a small fee per dose. Medication must be in its original prescribed container with the prescription label attached. For senior and special needs pets we offer a package that includes unlimited medication administration.

Vaccinations we require

Rabies, distemper/parvo and Bordetella are required. Canine influenza is strongly recommended. All vaccines must be given at least 14 days before arrival, and records need to be on file before your check in date or your pet risks being turned away. For guests under six months we need proof of the vaccination series. Your vet can email records to hilde@doggroom.org. We also strongly suggest a pest preventative such as Frontline Plus or Advantage.

Drop off and pick up

Check in any time during opening hours. Pick up by closing to avoid an extra day. Pets collected between 1pm and 5pm are charged half a day of daycare, and pets collected after 5pm are charged a full day.

Make it a spa day

Add any of these to your dog's stay: spa services, treats, individual playtime, command reinforcement. Full service bathing and grooming are available too, just tell us when you book.

New customers get their first night free

Try us out on the house. A free Meet N Greet comes first so your dog is comfortable before their first overnight.

Not to be combined with other offers. Limited to one per customer. Discount subject to availability. No cash value.

Boarding questions

Boarding

How do I make a reservation for my dog?

Call us at (678) 271-1115 to request a reservation. New daycare and boarding guests book a free Meet N Greet first.

What vaccinations will my dog need?

We require rabies, DHLPP (distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza and parvovirus) and Bordetella. Canine influenza is strongly recommended. All vaccines must be given at least 14 days before arrival, and we need them on file before your check in date or your pet risks being turned away. Please send a copy of the vaccination history when you make your reservation, and at least one week before your pet's stay. For guests under 6 months we need proof of the vaccination series. Your vet can email records to hilde@doggroom.org.

When can I drop off and pick up my dog?

Check in any time during our operating hours. We suggest dropping off a little before closing so your pup has time to settle in. Pick up by closing time to avoid being charged an extra day. Pets picked up between 1pm and 5pm are charged half a day of daycare, and pets picked up after 5pm are charged a full day.

What will my dog eat during the stay?

Please pack your dog's usual food, bagged and labeled per serving. If food is not in individual prepackaged containers or bags with your pet's name and meals measured out, a meal packaging fee of $3 per day applies, up to $15 per stay. Canned food and meal toppers are accepted in their original container, but must be labelled with your pet's name. We also offer a tasty and nutritious premium kibble for $3 per day.

My dog takes medication. Can you give it to them?

Absolutely. We have staff qualified to give oral and topical medications for a small fee per dose. We also offer a package for senior and special needs pets that includes unlimited medication administration. Medication must arrive in the original prescribed container with the prescription label attached.

Does my dog have to be spayed or neutered?

Intact pets are more than welcome to board with us for a small upcharge. Unaltered dogs over one year are $2 per night.

I have multiple dogs. Can they lodge together?

Yes. Our Medium and Grand suites are built for multi pet families, and our Lodge Together discount applies when family dogs share a suite. Give us a call and we will set up your family stay.

How old does my puppy need to be?

Puppies 16 weeks or older are welcome to join the fun. For peace of mind, new puppy guests are invited to join us for a free night to try us out.

How do you choose playgroups?

Playgroups are separated by size, activity level and personality. We keep a close eye on them for their whole stay, and every group is supervised by a trained team member.

I'm nervous about boarding. How do I know my pup will be cared for?

You will get a daily report card for your pet, and you are welcome to text, call or email us at any time. Between the hands on care, the comfortable accommodations and a well trained team, our guests settle in quickly.

Can I add grooming or bathing to my dog's stay?

Absolutely. We offer full service premium bathing and full service grooming. Just let us know ahead of time so we can book the salon.

Is there anything else you recommend?

We strongly suggest your dog is on a pest preventative such as Frontline Plus or Advantage.
